Artificial Intelligence – It’s Relevance to the Executive Suite and Potential Dangers

David Craig Utts Season 1 Episode 10

When we hear the words Artificial Intelligence or AI, they stir both great hope and understandable fear.  AI focuses on creating intelligent machines that can recognize speech, and objects, can learn and improve their effectiveness, plan and solve problems – that emulate the way humans do these things.  Ai is already generating buzz with the escalation of machine learning tools like ChatGPT4.   It provides promises of breakthroughs in many areas of life like healthcare, business efficiency, transportation, etc.   Yet, recently (100) AI leaders signed a letter asking that advanced AI research be halted for 6 months because of its potential dangers and the lack of regulatory oversight.

For my 10th show, I am honored to be joined in this conversation by an expert in the AI field, Justin Grammens.  Justin is the founder and CEO of Lab651. Lab651 help business leaders to successfully build and launch their software products with a proven system and a top-tier crew of software development experts.  He also has launched Recursive Awesome, IoT & Artificial Intelligence Weekly News, and co-founded AppliedAI and Captovation. But what there’s more, Justin is also the creator, producer, and host of the AppliedAI Podcast, the 501(c)(3) non-profit Emerging Technologies North, and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Saint Thomas.  Clearly, he brings much mastery to our conversation on one of the most important subjects of our time.
